St. Matthew offers the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults. This process is used for welcoming new members into the Catholic Church. It is for anyone who wishes to be baptized, anyone who has been baptized in another Christian Church and who is seeking full communion with the Catholic faith, and anyone who has been inactive and/or wants a “refresher” course for the Catholic faith. Anyone can sit in on the weekly classes. The first two months serve as an inquiry period.

Meetings are usually Tuesday from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm and begin in early October. Reception into the faith takes place at the Easter Vigil.
